I was born at an Air Force base in Nebraska. When I was in high school and college I worked in the auto body and paint business. I also sold insurance and was a loan officer. I owned a furniture delivery company and a maintenance company. I currently own a cattle company in eastern Colorado, a property management company (Merit Property Management), a real estate company (Merit Real Estate)and a mortgage company (New Life Mortgage). I started in real estate in 1989 at Merit. While working for Merit, I have had several positions such as, recruiter, sales, sales trainer, office manager and general manager. I have received the Ronald Regan Gold Medal Award for Small Business Excellence. I have a passion for the outdoors. My kids, 2 girls and a son, all hunt, fish, boat, ski, snowboard, ride ATV’s and motorcycles. They also participate in cattle roundups and branding. We do everything as a family. I love real estate. It’s a win, win situation, if you do it right. I like helping people get ahead whether it’s buying a home or training agents. I like to teach people how to excel, not just to do it.
